Narrative:

During climb to FL370 and passing FL350, we had a pressurization abnormal which required an immediate descent. We did not deviate from any clearance to the best of my knowledge. I did not declare an emergency. The flight continued to destination (syr) at 10000 ft MSL. Subsequently, we discovered the forward outflow valve had failed open.

Title: A B737-200 IN CLB AT FL350 HAD THE CABIN PRESSURE FAIL AND REQUIRED AN IMMEDIATE DSCNT TO 10000 FT CAUSED BY FAILURE OF THE FORWARD OUTFLOW TO CLOSE.

Narrative: DURING CLB TO FL370 AND PASSING FL350, WE HAD A PRESSURIZATION ABNORMAL WHICH REQUIRED AN IMMEDIATE DSCNT. WE DID NOT DEVIATE FROM ANY CLRNC TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE. I DID NOT DECLARE AN EMER. THE FLT CONTINUED TO DEST (SYR) AT 10000 FT MSL. SUBSEQUENTLY, WE DISCOVERED THE FORWARD OUTFLOW VALVE HAD FAILED OPEN.
