Narrative:

Right after takeoff, captain notified the cabin crew that we will be returning to the gate in sju due to indication of possibility of fire/heat, etc, in tailcone section of aircraft. We did not prepare for an evacuate/evacuation, per captain's instructions. Fuel was dumped and we put passenger at ease and informed them -- both in english and spanish. We landed and emergency vehicles met aircraft and verified there was no fire. All passenger were put on other flts. Aircraft was later ferried back to ewr with 3 cockpit crew and 2 cabin attendants. Other 2 attendants opted to deadhead on earlier flight.
