Narrative:

On departure runway 17 phl at approximately 1000 ft MSL, left engine lost oil pressure with no other indications of a problem. When pressure reached 8-10 psi and dropping, engine was shut down and secured per aircraft checklist. Aircraft was configured for single engine landing as per checklist and an uneventful landing to runway 27R at phl was made. On postflt walkaround evidence of oil leak on left engine. Aircraft turned over to maintenance.
