Narrative:

ZOB assigned an altitude of 12000 ft. As we passed through 13000 ft I called out 13000 ft for 12000 ft as stated in our fom. ZOB switched us to detroit approach and after tuning the communications radio I looked up and we were descending through 11700 ft. I called out altitude, and both the captain and myself pitched the aircraft up to maintain 12000 ft.
