An air carrier B757 flight crew dialed in the wrong numbers on a frequency change and lost contact with the ARTCC controller. An approach controller gave them the correct frequency.

Narrative:

We were on frequency 120.37 ZDC and were given a frequency change to 132.52. Frequency 135.50 was accidentally entered. We never checked in with ZDC. We realized our mistake shortly thereafter and called ny approach 120.8 to get the correct frequency. Approach and landing were made uneventfully.

Narrative: WE WERE ON FREQ 120.37 ZDC AND WERE GIVEN A FREQ CHANGE TO 132.52. FREQ 135.50 WAS ACCIDENTALLY ENTERED. WE NEVER CHKED IN WITH ZDC. WE REALIZED OUR MISTAKE SHORTLY THEREAFTER AND CALLED NY APCH 120.8 TO GET THE CORRECT FREQ. APCH AND LNDG WERE MADE UNEVENTFULLY.
