Narrative:

When we parked we went past the jetway a little bit. The people were all standing up and the tug pushed us back 1- 2 ft. I thought it would take a long time to get everyone seated. But upon thinking about it, the rules don't address inconvenience, etc, so I should have had everyone situation down prior to aircraft movement.

Title: A B727 ON A GATE WITH PAX STANDING IN THE CABIN WAS REPOSITIONED ON THE JETWAY BY A TUG.

Narrative: WHEN WE PARKED WE WENT PAST THE JETWAY A LITTLE BIT. THE PEOPLE WERE ALL STANDING UP AND THE TUG PUSHED US BACK 1- 2 FT. I THOUGHT IT WOULD TAKE A LONG TIME TO GET EVERYONE SEATED. BUT UPON THINKING ABOUT IT, THE RULES DON'T ADDRESS INCONVENIENCE, ETC, SO I SHOULD HAVE HAD EVERYONE SIT DOWN PRIOR TO ACFT MOVEMENT.
