Narrative:

East final radar position radar scope noted 'serial #XXX' on upper right front side of scope presents a situation of chronic unsatisfactory maintenance which may contribute to an accident or incident. When sweep switch is in 'dectred' position, the entire radar display (targets, alpha numerics, map) drifts, presenting a moving display. No less than 3 times in the last several months, this scope has been called 'OTS' due to this problem, put back in service, yet continues to exhibit this unsatisfactory condition.

Narrative: E FINAL RADAR POS RADAR SCOPE NOTED 'SERIAL #XXX' ON UPPER R FRONT SIDE OF SCOPE PRESENTS A SIT OF CHRONIC UNSATISFACTORY MAINT WHICH MAY CONTRIBUTE TO AN ACCIDENT OR INCIDENT. WHEN SWEEP SWITCH IS IN 'DECTRED' POS, THE ENTIRE RADAR DISPLAY (TARGETS, ALPHA NUMERICS, MAP) DRIFTS, PRESENTING A MOVING DISPLAY. NO LESS THAN 3 TIMES IN THE LAST SEVERAL MONTHS, THIS SCOPE HAS BEEN CALLED 'OTS' DUE TO THIS PROB, PUT BACK IN SVC, YET CONTINUES TO EXHIBIT THIS UNSATISFACTORY CONDITION.
