Narrative:

For at least 4 days now, traffic on V58 east of ign VOR have been unable to transmit to Y90 (bradley approach) on frequency 125.8. The aircraft can hear Y90, however, Y90 cannot hear aircraft. Supervisors have been notified, however situation continues with no known notification in right&I binders or status areas to notify other controllers, nor any known action being taken to rectify the situation. And it continues! Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter stated that the problem has been resolved. Maintenance installed higher resistance cables. Reporter stated the radios are old and alleged they date back to the 1950's.
