Narrative:

I was captain and PNF of an air carrier flight on nov/thu/97. We were cleared for a visual approach to runway 34 at ric, to follow an air carrier aircraft (B727), then cleared to land by ric tower controller. We continued the landing, touched down on speed in the touchdown zone of a 9000 ft runway, then cleared to exit the runway at intersection C and taxi to the ramp. I was later notified by my carrier's flight safety department that it was reported to them there may have been an aircraft which had not yet cleared the runway when our aircraft touched down. To my knowledge, the prior landing aircraft had cleared the runway before we landed. Supplemental information from acn 385779: I was PF (first officer), ILS, ric, runway 34, IMC, CAT 1, normal landing in darkness, with landing clearance. I never looked at runway end since I did not plan to roll that far. I never saw nor had knowledge of another airplane still on the runway. Supplemental information from acn 385921: the other aircraft reported that he was still on the runway, but again, we did not see him and we were cleared to land by ric tower.
