Narrative:
Approximately 20 mi south rbl given descent to 3000 ft till crossing 9 DME fix cleared for approach (VOR runway 33). I descended through 3000 ft to 2400 ft, got call from center told I was cleared only to 3000 ft. As I was in VMC I canceled IFR and landed VFR.

Narrative: APPROX 20 MI S RBL GIVEN DSCNT TO 3000 FT TILL XING 9 DME FIX CLRED FOR APCH (VOR RWY 33). I DSNDED THROUGH 3000 FT TO 2400 FT, GOT CALL FROM CTR TOLD I WAS CLRED ONLY TO 3000 FT. AS I WAS IN VMC I CANCELED IFR AND LANDED VFR.
