Narrative:
Location: ric/150/75. At FL370 cleared to cross 65 mi south of ric at FL270. Became distracted entering WX and did not begin descent until queried by ATC. ATC changed clearance to simply descend and maintain FL270 after we advised them that we were unable to make restr. No conflict was observed or reported by ATC and no further comments to us were made thereafter.

Narrative: LOCATION: RIC/150/75. AT FL370 CLRED TO CROSS 65 MI S OF RIC AT FL270. BECAME DISTRACTED ENTERING WX AND DID NOT BEGIN DSCNT UNTIL QUERIED BY ATC. ATC CHANGED CLRNC TO SIMPLY DSND AND MAINTAIN FL270 AFTER WE ADVISED THEM THAT WE WERE UNABLE TO MAKE RESTR. NO CONFLICT WAS OBSERVED OR RPTED BY ATC AND NO FURTHER COMMENTS TO US WERE MADE THEREAFTER.
