Narrative:

I was unaware that to fly (land) at/to dca that a reservation was needed to land or takeoff. It had only been told to me while I discussed it with my flight instructor after my return home. I have since reviewed the necessary steps for flying into airports that require reservations and I will not make the same mistake twice. This information is not shown on any of my approach charts.

Narrative: I WAS UNAWARE THAT TO FLY (LAND) AT/TO DCA THAT A RESERVATION WAS NEEDED TO LAND OR TKOF. IT HAD ONLY BEEN TOLD TO ME WHILE I DISCUSSED IT WITH MY FLT INSTRUCTOR AFTER MY RETURN HOME. I HAVE SINCE REVIEWED THE NECESSARY STEPS FOR FLYING INTO ARPTS THAT REQUIRE RESERVATIONS AND I WILL NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE TWICE. THIS INFO IS NOT SHOWN ON ANY OF MY APCH CHARTS.
