An unsafe nose gear indication occurred when gear was extended for landing at iah. A missed approach was performed and the emergency checklist was performed and the nose gear indicated safe. An uneventful landing was performed.

Title: A B737-300 ON FINAL APCH EXECUTED A MISSED APCH DUE TO THE NOSE GEAR UNSAFE WARNING LIGHT BECOMING OR REMAINING ILLUMINATED.

Narrative: AN UNSAFE NOSE GEAR INDICATION OCCURRED WHEN GEAR WAS EXTENDED FOR LNDG AT IAH. A MISSED APCH WAS PERFORMED AND THE EMER CHKLIST WAS PERFORMED AND THE NOSE GEAR INDICATED SAFE. AN UNEVENTFUL LNDG WAS PERFORMED.
