Narrative:

Air carrier X en route to clt on approximately 269 degree heading. TCASII of air carrier X observed intruder aircraft at 2 O'clock position and 3 mi and closing. Air carrier X aircraft at 6000 ft and intruder aircraft at 5500 ft and climbing. Captain of air carrier X aircraft was PF, turned right to approximately 330 degree heading and climbed to 6400 ft to avoid beech baron. Beech baron was flying VFR and not communicating with greensboro approach. Controller did not call traffic. TCASII RA, 'climb, climb.' would have likely been an accident without TCASII.
