Narrative:

On approach for runway 9R at mia, heard winds were 180 degrees at 18 KTS gusting to 24 KTS. First officer elected to use 25 degree flaps and add 15 KTS to vref of 129 KTS. Had significant crab on final. Wind check revealed same winds. (Captain noted he saw almost direct 20 KT tailwind at 1000 ft on final on wind arrow.) automatic spoilers were selected. After a normal on-speed and smooth touchdown, spoilers deployed. First officer noticed nose not coming down normally and began adding forward yoke. Then noticed after apparent gust that we were in the air. First officer started to add power to prevent a possible hard second touchdown, then noticed we were going further in the air. First officer initiated a go around and added full power. Captain also reached for and assisted in adding full power. Normal go around and 30 degree flap landing was accomplished. While airborne, flight attendant advised that they heard a noise on the first touchdown. Suspected a tailstrike, confirmed by a postflt inspection.
