Narrative:

I flew 2 trips with aircraft in part 121 cargo operation. The FAA later ramp checked the aircraft. The fuel gauges had been written up and deferred. There was a split of about 500 pounds. Maintenance stuck the tanks, but didn't specify in write- up which was accurate.
