Narrative:

Flight from pbi to bwi. We had clearance to fly the ott 3 arrival (ott.OTT3). At the time the discrepancy occurred, our position was over ric VOR. First officer mistakenly started tracking out on the ric 054 degree radial instead of the published 018 degree radial. ATC caught the error and issued us a heading of 300 degrees to intercept the ric 018 degree radial and fly the published arrival. No further action was taken.
