Narrative:

After takeoff, aircraft made 1 turn in pattern to shoot a practice short field landing. There was still an aircraft on runway. I executed a missed approach and started normal climb. Upon reaching the departure end of runway, passing 1200 ft, a high wing aircraft passed directly in front of me. I initiated an immediate evasive turn and climb. As I did so, the high wing aircraft started a turn toward me presumably to enter the pattern on downwind. It was obvious that he did not see me. I took radical evasive action consistent with far 91.3.6 to avoid collision. I departed the traffic area.
