Narrative:

I was proceeding to my first waypoint on a flight from rejeyvick, iceland (birk) to narsarsuaq, greenland (bgbw). After my first waypoint I was told that I was 30 mi off course at that point. I later discovered a programming error on my GPS. I had transposed 1 digit. ATC relayed that a gross navigation error was being filed. It appeared that I was radar contact at the time. I was not in mnps airspace nor was I mnps qualified.
