Narrative:

Our aircraft was told to cross both runways 35C and 35L. I read back that we would cross runways 35C and 35L. As we were approaching runway 35L dallas tower was still crossing traffic down field. When we changed to ground frequency and contacted them they told us that we had not been cleared to taxi across runway 35L. I believe this was a simple mistake in communication between tower and ground frequency operations. I don't recommend anything be done to correct the communication mistake, it was an honest mistake. Dallas controllers do a good job.
