Narrative:

Aircraft #1 (cga a) was handed off from the super high sector to the high sector level at FL350. The radar controller descended aircraft #1 to FL310. Aircraft #2 (military Y), a C21 military jet, was traffic at FL330. I was busy with d-side duties at the time aircraft #1 called on. By the time I returned my attention to the radar scope, noticed the traffic and told the radar controller, aircraft #1 had already started descent. Supplemental information from acn 346645: aircraft 1 eastbound at FL330. I took radar control of aircraft #2 northbound at FL350, inbound to mdw. On initial contact, descended aircraft 2 to FL310 losing standard separation with aircraft #1. Associate controller notified me and I climbed aircraft #2 back to FL350 until separated laterally from aircraft #1.

Title: ARTCC RADAR CTLR DSNDED CGA A, A C560, THROUGH AN OCCUPIED ALT. THE D-SIDE CTLR NOTICED THE ERROR AND ADVISED THE RADAR CTLR OF THE POTENTIAL CONFLICT, HOWEVER, EVASIVE ACTION WAS TOO LATE TO AVOID LOSS OF SEPARATION.

Narrative: ACFT #1 (CGA A) WAS HANDED OFF FROM THE SUPER HIGH SECTOR TO THE HIGH SECTOR LEVEL AT FL350. THE RADAR CTLR DSNDED ACFT #1 TO FL310. ACFT #2 (MIL Y), A C21 MIL JET, WAS TFC AT FL330. I WAS BUSY WITH D-SIDE DUTIES AT THE TIME ACFT #1 CALLED ON. BY THE TIME I RETURNED MY ATTN TO THE RADAR SCOPE, NOTICED THE TFC AND TOLD THE RADAR CTLR, ACFT #1 HAD ALREADY STARTED DSCNT. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 346645: ACFT 1 EBOUND AT FL330. I TOOK RADAR CTL OF ACFT #2 NBOUND AT FL350, INBOUND TO MDW. ON INITIAL CONTACT, DSNDED ACFT 2 TO FL310 LOSING STANDARD SEPARATION WITH ACFT #1. ASSOCIATE CTLR NOTIFIED ME AND I CLBED ACFT #2 BACK TO FL350 UNTIL SEPARATED LATERALLY FROM ACFT #1.
