Narrative:
Approaching capital VOR 112.7 the controller gave us a late clearance but we could have made it. Captain, who I queried about being high, said we would make it. We made our crossing altitude about 1200 ft high and past lewey intersection by 2 mi. The captain is retiring soon and his attitude has been a problem during the trip, along with other problems.
