Narrative:

At leveloff, noticed decreasing oil quantity #2 engine. Loss rate approximately 1 quart, 3-4 mins. Talked with company. They suspected bad quantity gauge. Pressure and temperature were good. Considered pit as possible diversion airport. Continued anyway until quantity read zero. Pressure and temperature remained green arc for another 15 mins, then pressure started to fluctuate. Shut down engine, diverted to phl since it was closest, and were heavy weight 103500 pounds. Flew single engine approach, flaps 15 degrees. Landed uneventfully. Bolt head had broken off of gear box.

CONSIDERED PIT AS POSSIBLE DIVERSION ARPT. CONTINUED ANYWAY UNTIL QUANTITY READ ZERO. PRESSURE AND TEMP REMAINED GREEN ARC FOR ANOTHER 15 MINS, THEN PRESSURE STARTED TO FLUCTUATE. SHUT DOWN ENG, DIVERTED TO PHL SINCE IT WAS CLOSEST, AND WERE HVY WT 103500 LBS. FLEW SINGLE ENG APCH, FLAPS 15 DEGS. LANDED UNEVENTFULLY. BOLT HEAD HAD BROKEN OFF OF GEAR BOX.
