Narrative:

During VFR primary training flight upon entering downwind at a 45 degree angle and turning onto downwind leg at 1000 ft AGL, I observed piper arrow in descent pass directly over our left wing. Immediate descent was initiated and piper advised that he almost hit my aircraft, unicom advisory was received and correct entry made with position reports made from my aircraft. The runway had just switched from runway 22 being active to runway 4 with 2 aircraft in pattern for runway 22 and one aircraft departing on runway 4.
