Narrative:

I landed on the runway that was favored by the windsock. I flew over the airport to determine this. My radio was inoperative so I could not call ahead and check on local traffic. I landed and at the intersection with [the crossing runway I] almost collided with [another aircraft] which was taking off. After landing I went outside and I tied the aircraft down and the wind was not favoring [the crossing runway that the other aircraft used for takeoff.]
