After deicing, the captain attempted a 120 degree right turn from taxiway M3 to taxiway M. The captain oriented the airplane using the taxiway lights since txwys were snow covered. In the turn the aircraft weathervaned causing the right main to slide into the mud. No taxiway lights were damaged. Neither was the aircraft.
