Narrative:

Landing at vpz an uncontrolled airport we attempted to call unicom and ask for an airport advisory. We got no response. We attempted again. No response so we advised that we were landing straight in on runway 09. On a 2 mi final we saw a commander high on a left base. We considered him to be no problem as he was 1000 ft approximately above us so we continued and landed. On the ramp we discovered we were not on the correct frequency. We were on 128.0 instead of 122.8. The commander had gone around. Our passenger were waiting at the aircraft when we shut down and loaded our passenger and started taxiing. We heard the commander calling us so we talked to him on the radio. He was very upset and we were not able to have a very professional conversation. Upon landing at our home base the PF called mr X and explained the situation to him. We were flying a number of short legs this day and it was getting close to the end of our day. We dialed in the wrong frequency and did not catch our mistake until we were on the ramp. The crew felt bad about the aircraft going around, but at no time was our aircraft or the other aircraft in danger. In the event of no communication we still were vigilant in looking for traffic and were operating with all available lights.

Title: ENTERING TFC AREA AT UNCTLED ARPT, RPTR FLC TUNED WRONG FREQ FOR UNICOM SO WAS NOT RECEIVING NOR XMITTING. APPARENTLY THEY CUT ANOTHER ACFT OUT OF THE PATTERN WHO HAD TO DO A GAR.

Narrative: LNDG AT VPZ AN UNCTLED ARPT WE ATTEMPTED TO CALL UNICOM AND ASK FOR AN ARPT ADVISORY. WE GOT NO RESPONSE. WE ATTEMPTED AGAIN. NO RESPONSE SO WE ADVISED THAT WE WERE LNDG STRAIGHT IN ON RWY 09. ON A 2 MI FINAL WE SAW A COMMANDER HIGH ON A L BASE. WE CONSIDERED HIM TO BE NO PROB AS HE WAS 1000 FT APPROX ABOVE US SO WE CONTINUED AND LANDED. ON THE RAMP WE DISCOVERED WE WERE NOT ON THE CORRECT FREQ. WE WERE ON 128.0 INSTEAD OF 122.8. THE COMMANDER HAD GONE AROUND. OUR PAX WERE WAITING AT THE ACFT WHEN WE SHUT DOWN AND LOADED OUR PAX AND STARTED TAXIING. WE HEARD THE COMMANDER CALLING US SO WE TALKED TO HIM ON THE RADIO. HE WAS VERY UPSET AND WE WERE NOT ABLE TO HAVE A VERY PROFESSIONAL CONVERSATION. UPON LNDG AT OUR HOME BASE THE PF CALLED MR X AND EXPLAINED THE SIT TO HIM. WE WERE FLYING A NUMBER OF SHORT LEGS THIS DAY AND IT WAS GETTING CLOSE TO THE END OF OUR DAY. WE DIALED IN THE WRONG FREQ AND DID NOT CATCH OUR MISTAKE UNTIL WE WERE ON THE RAMP. THE CREW FELT BAD ABOUT THE ACFT GOING AROUND, BUT AT NO TIME WAS OUR ACFT OR THE OTHER ACFT IN DANGER. IN THE EVENT OF NO COM WE STILL WERE VIGILANT IN LOOKING FOR TFC AND WERE OPERATING WITH ALL AVAILABLE LIGHTS.
