Narrative:

Flight was between scottsbluff, northeast, and denver international. Upon landing in denver, we noticed the tail stand was left on the tail during the previous flight from scottsbluff to denver. The tail stand was removed and the following flight resumed without incident. 'Tail stand check' will be added to my before starting engine checklist. Pilot fatigue may have been a contributing factor coupled with the dark ramp at scottsbluff not allowing you to see the tail as you get in the plane.
