Narrative:

While flying from ord to lga I realized my first class medical had expired. I was used to receiving computer generated messages warning when it was to expire and this time I did not because the date of my physical had been entered in the computer as aug/tue/95 instead of jul/mon/95. When I discovered my error I went to the hotel in lga and called my chief pilot in dfw. I was removed off the remainder of my trip and sent to home base the next morning. That same morning I went to my aviation doctor and renewed my first class medical.
