Narrative:

I had stuck in my head that a second class medical is good for 24 months. I don't know why I thought this. My mistake was discovered by my company a month after my medical changed to a third class. I'm on reserve for my company and I didn't fly very often, but I did fly during that month as a first officer. As soon as my company told me I ran out and got a first class medical. My company told me at XA00 and I had a first class medical done by XD00 that day. As soon as I realized my mistake, I corrected it as soon as possible. I wish this wouldn't have happened. I don't know what I was thinking. I am back on line with an updated first class medical. I've learned from this mistake and it won't happen ever again.
