Narrative:
Departed stp after low approach. Stp is only about a mi from msp class B airspace. I was just west, heading south toward D97 about 7 mi south of stp. I accidentally strayed about .2 NM into class B airspace, departed immediately, inside the airspace no more than 30 second to 1 min. Was in contact with stp tower which did not mention this. Considering close proximity of class B airspace, I should pay closer attention to DME in that location.

Narrative: DEPARTED STP AFTER LOW APCH. STP IS ONLY ABOUT A MI FROM MSP CLASS B AIRSPACE. I WAS JUST W, HDG S TOWARD D97 ABOUT 7 MI S OF STP. I ACCIDENTALLY STRAYED ABOUT .2 NM INTO CLASS B AIRSPACE, DEPARTED IMMEDIATELY, INSIDE THE AIRSPACE NO MORE THAN 30 SEC TO 1 MIN. WAS IN CONTACT WITH STP TWR WHICH DID NOT MENTION THIS. CONSIDERING CLOSE PROX OF CLASS B AIRSPACE, I SHOULD PAY CLOSER ATTENTION TO DME IN THAT LOCATION.
