Narrative:

Turned too early on drake 6 departure to 300 degree heading (at 4 DME) to intercept the pxr 336 degree radial. We were not to turn to 300 degree heading until 13 DME. No conflict was noted. Misread SID was reason for error. First officer missed error as well. Controller said no problem. No corrective action was taken.
