Narrative:

After landing, the captain taxied to the gate by what appeared to be the only route, due to construction. 1 route was closed by construction, another blocked by an aircraft pushing back, yet another appeared to be blocked by an MD80 parked and chocked by the north end of taxiway 'east.' ground control cleared us to 'taxi to the gate.' the only way appeared to be on taxiway 'I' between pier 'C' and the fire station. We looked closely at the 10-9 page and could see no reason we couldn't do it. After parking at the gate however a review of our airline's 10-7 page revealed the words 'no taxi' for that area. If that is true it should be printed on the airport taxi chart (10-9 page) not just our 'company 10-7 chart.'
