Narrative:

Upon receiving the aircraft, I discovered that there was no logbook entry indicating full power takeoff had been made in the last 14 days. Since the legal limit is 10 days between full power takeoffs along with a logbook entry, I noted this in the logbook and advised the dispatcher and maintenance. After a long consultation between the two, the item was written off to the effect that the next takeoff will be made at full power and noted in the log by the pilot. I am not certain if that write-off made my subsequent takeoff legal, and at this time I am looking into the matter.
