Narrative:

I was acting as PIC in a beechcraft twin bonanza. All seats were removed and seatbelts installed for up to 10 jumpers. 7 jumpers had scheduled a dive into a party on the north side of lake kingsley (5-7 NM east of starke, fl). The lake is surrounded by restr areas R2904A&B and R2903A. The south side of the lake is under restr airspace. There is a small corridor of class G airspace between R2904 and R2903. This corridor falls on the north half of lake kingsley and extends at least .5 NM north of the lake. I called gnv FSS and filed a NOTAM for XA00-XB00 for a parachute jump at this location. FSS told me that R2904 and R2903 were hot up to 1799 ft and 5000 ft respectively. I was dropping jumpers at 5000 ft and higher over the north edge of the lake. Because of this I knew neither I nor the jumpers would enter restr airspace. On a go around I may have overflown the airspace but not entered it. Jax approach was getting very nervous of having us in that corridor and I called them once on the ground to straighten things out. Over the phone I was told I did not enter the restr areas but I was close. During my flight training I was never told being close to a restr area was cause for alarm. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter states that when he landed he called jax approach and they admitted that he was not in the restr area but that they were worried about him being so close with both of the areas active. The controller related that the army had called jax and were upset with them because this aircraft was so close. The approach facility had a problem finding the NOTAM which the reporter had filed and did not realize why he was there. There has been no follow-up action.

Title: JUMP ACFT IN THE VICINITY OF RESTR AREAS WHICH WERE HOT.

Narrative: I WAS ACTING AS PIC IN A BEECHCRAFT TWIN BONANZA. ALL SEATS WERE REMOVED AND SEATBELTS INSTALLED FOR UP TO 10 JUMPERS. 7 JUMPERS HAD SCHEDULED A DIVE INTO A PARTY ON THE N SIDE OF LAKE KINGSLEY (5-7 NM E OF STARKE, FL). THE LAKE IS SURROUNDED BY RESTR AREAS R2904A&B AND R2903A. THE S SIDE OF THE LAKE IS UNDER RESTR AIRSPACE. THERE IS A SMALL CORRIDOR OF CLASS G AIRSPACE BTWN R2904 AND R2903. THIS CORRIDOR FALLS ON THE N HALF OF LAKE KINGSLEY AND EXTENDS AT LEAST .5 NM N OF THE LAKE. I CALLED GNV FSS AND FILED A NOTAM FOR XA00-XB00 FOR A PARACHUTE JUMP AT THIS LOCATION. FSS TOLD ME THAT R2904 AND R2903 WERE HOT UP TO 1799 FT AND 5000 FT RESPECTIVELY. I WAS DROPPING JUMPERS AT 5000 FT AND HIGHER OVER THE N EDGE OF THE LAKE. BECAUSE OF THIS I KNEW NEITHER I NOR THE JUMPERS WOULD ENTER RESTR AIRSPACE. ON A GAR I MAY HAVE OVERFLOWN THE AIRSPACE BUT NOT ENTERED IT. JAX APCH WAS GETTING VERY NERVOUS OF HAVING US IN THAT CORRIDOR AND I CALLED THEM ONCE ON THE GND TO STRAIGHTEN THINGS OUT. OVER THE PHONE I WAS TOLD I DID NOT ENTER THE RESTR AREAS BUT I WAS CLOSE. DURING MY FLT TRAINING I WAS NEVER TOLD BEING CLOSE TO A RESTR AREA WAS CAUSE FOR ALARM. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: RPTR STATES THAT WHEN HE LANDED HE CALLED JAX APCH AND THEY ADMITTED THAT HE WAS NOT IN THE RESTR AREA BUT THAT THEY WERE WORRIED ABOUT HIM BEING SO CLOSE WITH BOTH OF THE AREAS ACTIVE. THE CTLR RELATED THAT THE ARMY HAD CALLED JAX AND WERE UPSET WITH THEM BECAUSE THIS ACFT WAS SO CLOSE. THE APCH FACILITY HAD A PROB FINDING THE NOTAM WHICH THE RPTR HAD FILED AND DID NOT REALIZE WHY HE WAS THERE. THERE HAS BEEN NO FOLLOW-UP ACTION.
