On the river 5 departure at pdx, I, the other pilot, and the line check airman on the observer seat, all missed the 250 KT speed restr which is in very small print on the departure page. Recommendation: emphasize departure speed restrs on the pictorial and include them in the narrative description and in the ATC clearance. If 3 experienced air carrier pilots miss this, it indicates a presentation problem.
