Narrative:
While in cruise flight at 3500 ft the lead flight attendant reported a 'medical emergency' in the cabin. Cockpit crew elected to divert flight to fargo, nd, approximately 70 mi due north of our position. In order to 'expedite' captain declared an emergency and we exceeded 250 KTS below 10000 ft. Fargo approach was advised of our speed and reported no conflicting traffic problems.

Narrative: WHILE IN CRUISE FLT AT 3500 FT THE LEAD FLT ATTENDANT RPTED A 'MEDICAL EMER' IN THE CABIN. COCKPIT CREW ELECTED TO DIVERT FLT TO FARGO, ND, APPROX 70 MI DUE N OF OUR POS.
