Narrative:

I was sitting in the back seat in the airplane when the instructor was giving instructions to his student. I was supposed to be checked out in the airplane so I also could give students instructions in the airplane. We were doing touch and goes in the traffic pattern. After the first landing the instructor decided to do a full stop with his student. They put the gear down on downwind, and I checked myself that we had a down and locked indication, '3 green.' I also checked the gear on final and short final, and we had '3 green' all the time. We touched down and started our rollout, and after approximately 300 ft, the left main gear collapsed. There was nothing that the pilots could do to save the airplane, and we ran off the runway. There were no indications of a gear problem during the whole flight.
