Narrative:

We had departed charlie brown airport and navigated around dobbins AFB airspace. The morning WX brief did not mention cobb county had a control tower nor did the current sectional chart depict controled airspace. A traffic call to unicom/CTAF was answered with advice to contact 'the tower.' at this point, we were inside the class D airspace. We immediately turned away and exited the airspace without any problems or conflicts. Since this airspace is not depicted on the current sectional chart maybe the WX briefer's should mention this to anyone VFR out of the atlanta metropolitan area.
