Narrative:

Taxiing northeast on taxiway delta from southwest cargo at msp, I was advised to hold short of runway 29L on delta monitoring tower frequency for an intersection takeoff. While holding short with my parking brake set, my attention was diverted to some paperwork for few seconds. I suddenly notice my aircraft was moving and I immediately stopped the airplane with the nosewheel across the hold short line. My parking brake had failed to hold. A heavy aircraft landed while my aircraft was part way across the line and there was no event and nothing was said by either the tower or myself before I was cleared for the intersection takeoff. I will ensure my brakes are holding before diverting my attention elsewhere.
