Narrative:

During a walk around in hrl, first officer noticed the skin indention below galley door. We discussed the location and depth. Dent is not located on a stringer, smooth impact surface, and very shallow. I chose to accept the aircraft. During our dfw turn I failed to advise maintenance of the dent. Then upon arrival oke we remembered the dent and brought it to the attention of maintenance. The mechanic evaluated the dent, signed the logbook, ok for flight.
