Narrative:

We crossed flat rock VOR for the nancy arrival into lga. First officer thought that the wind correction for intercepting the 42 degree radial would be a lot so he turned back to intercept it. Just as we were going to turn left because we over corrected, ZDC said we were east of course too far. We corrected and everything was normal.

JUST AS WE WERE GOING TO TURN L BECAUSE WE OVER CORRECTED, ZDC SAID WE WERE E OF COURSE TOO FAR. WE CORRECTED AND EVERYTHING WAS NORMAL.
