Narrative:

On climb out from 16000 ft to FL200, we were asked to expedite through FL180. While doing this we were also changing over navigation. After arriving at FL200, we were notified by center that they showed us 500 ft low. We recycled our transponder, then noticed that our altimeters were still set at 30.43. We adjusted our altimeters then corrected our altitude. The remainder of the flight was uneventful. Supplemental information from acn 297362: during an expedited climb through FL180, the controller could verify altimeter setting at leveloff so this could not happen again.
