Narrative:
Handing over controller to copilot -- not scanning instruments, copilot later stated he saw altitude deviation but did not say anything. Copilot is the attorney for the company, also a CFI, very nervous type. Should not have let him up front to start with. Started bugging me to relinquish control when passing through 500 ft. From now on passenger stay passenger.

Narrative: HANDING OVER CTLR TO COPLT -- NOT SCANNING INSTS, COPLT LATER STATED HE SAW ALTDEV BUT DID NOT SAY ANYTHING. COPLT IS THE ATTORNEY FOR THE COMPANY, ALSO A CFI, VERY NERVOUS TYPE. SHOULD NOT HAVE LET HIM UP FRONT TO START WITH. STARTED BUGGING ME TO RELINQUISH CTL WHEN PASSING THROUGH 500 FT. FROM NOW ON PAX STAY PAX.
