35 west of armel level at FL270, on J149.a got RA on TCASII to climb immediately at 1700 FPM. Climbed to FL285 and RA subsided. Advised ATC of situation and they cleared us to remain at FL280. A 737 leveled just below us at FL270 and crossed under from right to left. TCASII worked this time.
