Narrative:

During pushback, aft cargo door light illuminated. As ground personnel checked door closed, first officer looked up item in MEL. MEL specification called for ensuring aircraft could pressurize prior to takeoff. Ground issued taxi instructions 'taxi to runway 27L via taxiway H, taxiway east.' as I taxied aircraft, first officer was reading MEL and we were discussing pressurization on ground. As I exited the ramp on taxiway H, I missed the turn on taxiway east and taxied onto runway 17/15. Not seeing taxiway east, I stopped aircraft. Ground informed me I had missed the taxiway east, as instructed, I taxied down runway 17 and joined taxiway south at end. The cause of the error was my continuing to taxi while I was distracted with the cargo door problem. I am familiar with phl, having operated there several flts in the last month. I did not notice the taxi marker for taxiway east.

Title: UNAUTH RWY ENTRY.

Narrative: DURING PUSHBACK, AFT CARGO DOOR LIGHT ILLUMINATED. AS GND PERSONNEL CHKED DOOR CLOSED, FO LOOKED UP ITEM IN MEL. MEL SPEC CALLED FOR ENSURING ACFT COULD PRESSURIZE PRIOR TO TKOF. GND ISSUED TAXI INSTRUCTIONS 'TAXI TO RWY 27L VIA TXWY H, TXWY E.' AS I TAXIED ACFT, FO WAS READING MEL AND WE WERE DISCUSSING PRESSURIZATION ON GND. AS I EXITED THE RAMP ON TXWY H, I MISSED THE TURN ON TXWY E AND TAXIED ONTO RWY 17/15. NOT SEEING TXWY E, I STOPPED ACFT. GND INFORMED ME I HAD MISSED THE TXWY E, AS INSTRUCTED, I TAXIED DOWN RWY 17 AND JOINED TXWY S AT END. THE CAUSE OF THE ERROR WAS MY CONTINUING TO TAXI WHILE I WAS DISTRACTED WITH THE CARGO DOOR PROB. I AM FAMILIAR WITH PHL, HAVING OPERATED THERE SEVERAL FLTS IN THE LAST MONTH. I DID NOT NOTICE THE TAXI MARKER FOR TXWY E.
