Narrative:

Aircraft cleared for takeoff runway 20C, aircraft turned left from engine runup on taxiway S7 and rolled. Local controller canceled takeoff clearance approximately 500 ft into departure roll, using call sign 'X runway 20C cancel takeoff clearance.' no response, aircraft departed and appeared to not know anything about the point of departure. This event was not logged.
