Narrative:

Observed deicing of my aircraft. Post deicing inspection not completed. Man driving push-back tug assured me it has been done. I asked to speak with the crew chief. He said he had done the inspection. Further dialogue revealed he had inspected the bottom of the wings only. Note: the ladders had been removed from the aircraft before deicing had been completed. Crew chief completed proper inspection on my request.

Title: IMPROPER DEICING - FOLLOW UP INSPECTION (ICE 9).

Narrative: OBSERVED DEICING OF MY ACFT. POST DEICING INSPECTION NOT COMPLETED. MAN DRIVING PUSH-BACK TUG ASSURED ME IT HAS BEEN DONE. I ASKED TO SPEAK WITH THE CREW CHIEF. HE SAID HE HAD DONE THE INSPECTION. FURTHER DIALOGUE REVEALED HE HAD INSPECTED THE BOTTOM OF THE WINGS ONLY. NOTE: THE LADDERS HAD BEEN REMOVED FROM THE ACFT BEFORE DEICING HAD BEEN COMPLETED. CREW CHIEF COMPLETED PROPER INSPECTION ON MY REQUEST.
