Narrative:

At approximately XA10Z departing fra on the FOXT3G I leveled the aircraft at 5000 ft on 29.92 instead of 5000 ft on local altimeter. Aircraft was returned to 5000 ft at once. However this resulted in approximately 200-250 ft overshoot. 5000 ft was the transition altitude. ATC did not indicate that there was an altitude deviation.

Title: FLT CREW OF B767 DEPARTING FRA EXPERIENCE ALT OVERSHOOT DUE TO FAILURE TO RESET THEIR ALTIMETERS AT THE TRANSITION ALT.

Narrative: AT APPROX XA10Z DEPARTING FRA ON THE FOXT3G I LEVELED THE ACFT AT 5000 FT ON 29.92 INSTEAD OF 5000 FT ON LCL ALTIMETER. ACFT WAS RETURNED TO 5000 FT AT ONCE. HOWEVER THIS RESULTED IN APPROX 200-250 FT OVERSHOOT. 5000 FT WAS THE TRANSITION ALT. ATC DID NOT INDICATE THAT THERE WAS AN ALTDEV.
