Narrative:
Departed ewr, placed gear handle in up position. Got a gear disagree warning. Returned for landing. Upon returning to the gate discovered gear pins had not been removed. Removed gear pins and got new clearance -- departed for destination.

Narrative: DEPARTED EWR, PLACED GEAR HANDLE IN UP POS. GOT A GEAR DISAGREE WARNING. RETURNED FOR LNDG. UPON RETURNING TO THE GATE DISCOVERED GEAR PINS HAD NOT BEEN REMOVED. REMOVED GEAR PINS AND GOT NEW CLRNC -- DEPARTED FOR DEST.
